An Update!

Whooo, bringing you news straight from the horse's mouth 24 hours a day! Or not.

As you can probably tell I don't really update DeviantArt much anymore:- if you want to find out what I've been working on lately you would be much more productive in checking out my personal website, which is in the URL section here.

For those that don't know, myself and some friends have been together as part of Flash gaming company MEGADEV for the past year now, and we are doing pretty well for ourselves, although we haven't quite made it big just yet. You can check out mine and everyone else's work on the official site [link], and you can find our games on ArmorGames, Kongregate, NewGrounds and others aside.

Our last release has been Knightfall 2, which we have had astounding critical acclaim for already and has even been featured on such sites as 1Up, Gamasutra, Kotaku and JayIsGames. Our next game will be out in about a month's time, so look out for that one too.


Anyway that's enough about me, how are you?


(P.S. For those who haven't seen yet, there are two - count 'em, TWO - entirely separate NigSek cameos in Knightfall 2. One is blatant and the other is a little more obscure. See if you can spot them, long-serving fans of mine whom I adore!)

Wow, I JUST noticed you work at MegaDev! Seeing the cameo at the trebuchet in KnightFall 2 made me wonder if you had seen it.... but then I checked your home page and realized it WAS you. Nice going!

Thanks! I do visit DeviantArt once in a while, but I put all my work on my own site these days instead - I only put my MSPaint doodlings on this'n now.

Check the site out if you wanted to see the newer stuff, we've got another new game out soon which will be quite exciting.

Though I played your Nigsek game years and years ago I just wanted to say its awesome. :P

I was MEGA DEPRESSINGLY crushed when you gave up on the Nigsek remake, and that other game with Michael (name escapes me at the moment)

Please find the motivation somewhere to make these games. :|

I just got a chance to play NigSek: A Monster's Tail. This game actually had me ready to cry whan I saw the loyalty between Nigrowb and Sigapook. Those two are so kickass... plus Blazing pummel is the coolest move ever. I would love to actaully be able to do that. Awesome choice of music.

I did find spelling errors, but I was so absorbed in the game I didn't let that bother me. However, I did find a really nasty bug you didn't mention... it was with the lady with the story telling from Zelda 6... The one that passes time when you talk to her? Well, I pased a half hour away on day 3, and eh... all the doors were locked up and I was unable to go anywhere BUT the inn. I didn't have enough for a room that day either. This was the pits, I lost a whole thrity minutes of training because I couldn't advance the day. Sucked.

Well, that's about all I got to say on NigSek. I can't wait to beat it! (That AVI of Saria holding tiny lil baby Link was cute.... So THAT'S waht you did with the SAria character model you made.)

Like I said... awesome storyline and music to accompany it. In fact, I had to stop playing for a day because I was dreaming about it. o_O Weird....
